Those who lose everything

It's 6Am, and I just got online to check my e-mail when an old friend who has been going through alot messaged me about what is going on with her life. Her soon to be ex husband gave her a prepaid card to help her move back to the area, and three months later he has now filed a charge back on the charges that she made on there so that she could move back. She is so upset about things, because it seems that he is really out to destroy her.

But when things seem down and out, God always sends someone to help you remember that not all is lost. Even though we have lost a lot of material things, we will never lose everything when we have HIM.

And somehow, out of death, comes life: “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it.” (Mark 8:34-35)

So remember, when the tempter named Satan decides to get in your ear and tell you that you need to quit fighting, it's not worth it, you have lost everything, remember Heaven and Earth will pass away, but HIS WORD will last forever. So hold on to HIS WORD, and as Shawn tells me all the time, DO NOT QUIT!!!
